Dr Sandra heading back home end of July
Dr Sandra will be heading back home to Woollongong at the end of July . We would like to thank her for all the work she has done while Dr Musca has been on maternityleave.
Dr Meredith will join us in August
Dr Meredith Stewart will join the Don Medical Clinic in August, starting one day a week.

Medical Student Update
Tom Dobie will join our team for the month of July. Tom is from the Rural Clinical School in Burnie and has chosen to spend his selective time with us to up skill in general practice and young people's health .
Emma Byard joins us on Tuesdays for the regular weekly rotation until October .
Fee Changes from the 4th July :
The Management of Don Medical Clinic wish to advise that we have had to make some changes to our Standard consultation fees. This will mean an increase in the General consultation fee,and therefore, a similar increase inthe Gap between your consult fee and the Medicare contribution fee you receive as a rebate.
The new fees will come into effect from Monday July 4th, 2016.
This is our first change in our general fees since we opened in August 2014 and we have worked to keep these fee changes to a minimum.
If you have any questions regarding these changes or how they may affect you, please contact reception on 6441 5299.
As per our practice policy, we will continue to Bulk Bill to Medicare the following services.
Standard Consultation fees for young people up to age 18
All DVA Gold card recipients.
All over 75 Annual Health Assessments.
All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Annual Health Assessments
All 45-49 year old Health assessments.
Other Medicare eligible Health Assessments
We have our concession fees in place for all concession card holders, Age Pensions and young people aged 18 to 24.
Surgical procedures and Wound care may incur a fee for consumable items, this will be discussed with you prior to the procedure by your doctor.
